So I Might’ve Heard the Legend of Korra is Pretty Good

It would seem that the first episode of The Legend of Korra has been leaked a tad bit earlier than its April premiere. Rumors and links have been floating up and down all day -and I am in no way condoning piracy- but Korra appears to be just as intriguing as her predecessor.

I’m the Avatar. You gotta deal with it!

That statement is as much for the fans as it is for the White Lotus members who show up on Korra’s doorstep when she’s a chubby, volatile little bender. And she’s fantastic.

The show instantly separates itself from the original series – now it’s Republic City and a whole new world open for a strong, self-confident Avatar like Korra. Parts of the show are bittersweet in that many years have passed, and in turn so have many characters. Everything is a new game – Korra is an older teen, and politically Aang and Zuko’s Republic is as ripe and full of possibilities as she is…even full of dangers.

It’ll be great to see how things have changed officially on April 14th, the nickelodeon planned release, so I will say no more to avoid possible legal issues – but color me excited.

I’m super excited for this show, Avatar: The Last Airbender was one of the greatest things that has ever come out of America, and this looks super unique. BENDING IN THE CITY WHAAAAAAT?

Imagine a day when we become significant enough for legal issues. *sighhhh* It’s a beautiful dream. =)

  3. I don’t know if you guys watched it, but. I am super excited especially after seeing the premier. The emergence of these new areas such as republic city really show how advanced society has become from the previous series and if the technology is advanced, I’m sure there will be some new twists on bending
